June 23, 2003 Great Arrow does it again!

At gala festivities in NYC's historic Manhattan Center, Great Arrow was awarded Louie awards for 2 of its 4 nominations. Named for Louis Prange, a 19th century lithographer credited as the "father" of the modern greeting card for introducing Christmas cards to America in 1856, the Louies celebrate creative excellence in card design and production. The awards are presented annually during the National Stationery Show by the Greeting Card Association. The 2003 competition included entries in 73 categories from more than 150 international companies. Great Arrow's winners were R3590 for Valentines Day above $2.50 and R3430 for Sympathy above $2.50. This year's awards bring our total to 38 - including the coveted wins for Card of the Year in 1999 and 2001.
